Allison Lee's fundraising for clean water in Vietnam

Allison Lee's fundraising for clean water in Vietnam

All proceeds will go directly to  Allison Lee's clean water project fund.

Allison Lee was born in March 2005 to parents who have a great passion for badminton and naturally was introduced to the sport at a very young age. However, she did not officially start training until turning 8 in 2013. Allison is now participating in all of the top US Junior Badminton Tournaments whenever her school schedule allows. Besides badminton, Allison loves to hang out with her friends/family and participate in many other sports including basketball. :-)

I first heard about Viet Dreams through my mother. When I looked into Viet Dreams with the photos and stories behind it, I wanted to become involved immediately. I asked my parents if I could help out in any way and they were so proud of me for my vision. I saw photos of all the underprivileged kids in Vietnam without having access to clean water to drink or enough food to eat. Not to mention the lack of schools for the kids. I currently compete in the sport of badminton. I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to travel all over the country and even other parts of the world for competition. This is made possible by the wonderful support from sponsors and my parents. I have also been fortunate to meet so many great and wonderful people through my travels.

I have a passion and vision to share my positive experiences through my travels and use my networking to make a difference in the lives of the kids in Vietnam. In December of 2017, I plan to visit the schools and kids in Vietnam that I have helped. I want to see what kind of impact I have made for the kids and hopefully impacted their lives in a positive way. This year I have another opportunity to fundraise for more schools. I am very excited for my plan. In the meantime, please support and give what you can to make a difference in the lives of all the kids in Vietnam. It will take a lot of work and effort to make it happen, but I am ready for the challenge and the emotional reward.
